Join us for cocktails with a cause on Tuesday, October 29!

Legal Aid, in partnership with MinnPost and Far North Spirits, invites you to enjoy signature cocktails and appetizers as we examine school lunch debt shaming in Minnesota.

Colleen Moriarty, Executive Director at Hunger Solutions Minnesota, and Jessica Webster, Staff Attorney at the Legal Services Advocacy Project, will talk about how community and legislative advocacy has changed both Minnesota law and school policies when children can't pay for lunch at school, and the work left to do to make sure all Minnesota children have a healthy lunch at school.

This event will be held across the street at the Food Building, which is an experience in and of itself. We hope you'll attend, partake and discuss!

Thanks to our sponsors, the $10 admission includes appetizers and drinks, including a seasonal cocktail designed for the evening by Far North Spirits.
