The past 12 months have been an adventure for the FOOD BUILDING family. From Good Food Awards for Red Table Meat Co., to a State Fair Blue Ribbon for The Lone Grazer Creamery, to the launch of Baker's Field Flour & Bread, we've been busy. The Lone Grazer Creamery is now offering you the freshest cheese curds in the Twin Cities every Tuesday. You get to pick up curds on the same day they're made! Simply order a few pouches of fresh curds at TheLoneGrazer.com before Monday night, and then pick them up at FOOD BUILDING on Tuesday between 4-6pm.
UPDATE: Fresh Curds Tuesday has been moved to The Draft Horse. Simply go to The Draft Horse on Tuesday's after 4pm and buy your curds directly from the deli counter.
Tyrone and Steve worked valiantly with the city and regulatory agencies, and we are thrilled to announce that Bakers' Field Flour & Bread is finally under construction at FOOD BUILDING! Kieran and Steve signed the lease a few days ago, and the "pleasant hum" of construction equipment is the most recent addition to the FOOD BUILDING buzz.
As we enter Spring 2016 at FOOD BUILDING, life is bustling! Kieran, Mike, and Rueben have each presented at a variety of events around the Twin Cities, and the local love for Red Table Meat Co., The Lone Grazer Creamery, and The Draft Horse continues to grow.
If you thought 2015 was big, 2016 is looking to be an even more exciting year at FOOD BUILDING. Red Table Meat Co. won three awards at the sixth annual Good Food Awards in San Francisco this past weekend (story below). Both The Lone Grazer Creamery and Red Table Meat Co. are continuing to enjoy strong local support, while national demand is increasing for each brand, which means 2016 is looking to be a strong year for more Minnesota foods to be enjoyed across the US.
As we wrap up 2015, it's incredible to look back at everything that has happened at FOOD BUILDING this year-- from the launch of The Lone Grazer Creamery and the opening of The Draft Horse, to the amended city ordinance which will allow Steve Horton to stone-mill grain at FOOD BUILDING. Thank you all for supporting this adventure in Northeast Minneapolis and we look forward to continuing to create connections with you all in 2016!

With chillier temps and holiday parties approaching its a great time of year to enjoy meat and cheese. Both Red Table Meat Co. and The Lone Grazer Creamery are partnering withFulton to offer a $50 gift box (pictured above) that is exclusively sold at the Fulton Tap Room, available now through the end of December.
Each week we are out doing tastings, markets and events, and these face-to-face interactions are great reminders of the value that you all find in our carefully crafted foods. And now with both Red Table and The Lone Grazer increasing their national distribution it is wonderful to be able to share these products with more people across the country.
