As the new kid on the block in NE Minneapolis, and as the home of two buzzing food startups (Red Table Meat Co. and The Lone Grazer Creamery), we get lots of people coming by FOOD BUILDING and reaching out online to find out "what the heck is FOOD BUILDING?"


But don't worry, it's not complicated. FOOD BUILDING is an urban food production hub. Think like Willy Wonka, but for meat and cheese.. Both Red Table Meat Co. and The Lone Grazer Creamery buy directly from Minnesota farmers and then make exceptional foods from those Minnesota ingredients at FOOD BUILDING.

We invite everyone to experience the whole process. If you haven't seen The Story or met The Makers on our site yet, feel free to start there. And while you're at it, give us a shout to schedule a tour. Whether you're by yourself, with your family and friends, or connected to a business, we would love to give you a personal tour of FOOD BUILDING, you'll get to see where the magic happens AND taste the foods!

And this is just the beginning. As you may have heard we're working with Steve Horton, founder and former owner of Rustica Bakery, to bring grain milling back to the Mill City. He will be utilizing the remaining production space at FOOD BUILDING as soon as the city changes an antiquated policy. 
And we're working with some additional seasoned restaurateurs to open The Workhorse at FOOD BUILDING!
